Star of Hope Romania

Praise the Lord.

We are back from our mission trip to Romania. We felt the Lord's protection at all times. We were able to participate in some small activities. The highlights of the trip were:

- The free clinic in a small village Mlenauti where we were able to take some medical supplies from the states and bless many patients.

- The Women Conference in Iasi with more then 200 mothers with children with disabilities where I had to present two subjects in two sessions "Stress management/prevention" and "Physical and Spiritual Rehabilitation". Those women touched our hearts themselves. We have seen many tears in their eyes throughout the conference. Words cannot describe how needy these women are emotionally, spiritually and financialy. We had the opportunity to share and to listen and to cry with them. (ladies we are really spoiled these days here in the USA).

- The Church "Vestea Buna " Bucuresti, on Popa Nan street, cellebrated 60th Aniversary and we had the privillege to be a part of that event that Sunday afternoon (It was the Holy Spirit's arrangement). We did not know about the cellebration but God knew. That was the Church where I grew up from 14 years of age. The Lord blessed us so much in that Church for about 18 years. He listened many prayers and received many of our sacrifices. What an opportunity to be able to give God thanks and praise His Mighty name in that day with our brothers and sisters from Vestea Buna Church and to cellebrate all the victories in our life in such a special day. What a blessing for our family!!!

Dear sisters,

We have spent the most fantastic days in Star of Hope Romania family together with more than 200 woman from the region of Moldova and one woman from Parent Association in Chisinau-Republic of Moldova : the mothers from our 9 projects ,specialists and Christians woman from different churches: more than 50 % orthodox,Catholics,protestant and 50 %evangelic.
The woman were from different social level:agriculture woman,simple profession but also teachers,nurses,accountability woman,managers:
The heaven has opened and the angels of God has come on earth in Iasi to cover all the woman with Blessings .It was many tears of repenting and tears for joy of freedom!

Most of them confessed that they have never heard such perspective of life.They heard the Gospel for the first time.The message was so clear.
They have been moved by the holy spirit.We have had a prayer time in the evening and we have given the liberty to decide if they want to come to this part of the program.More than half choose to come also for the praying time. I was surprised by this.Some woman said :"I feel I am transformed ! "(she is a orthodox mother)
We, as woman felt the call of God to give our lives to him totally and we have declared all with our voices that we want to follow JESUS.and to put his Gospel as the first priority .All the woman were encouraged.

We want to give thanks to you for every prayer you did. We felt that someone was fighting for helping us:The first day was magnify but in the second day in the morning we felt in our spirit that the enemy did not want the woman to hear the word of God.So your prayers has defeat the evil plan because after one hour all the woman were at the Cross.

Anne Christiansen from Norway and my sister Rodica Malos from USA they made a great team together.

Also the Romanian Christian writer Ligia Seman
Anne was presenting the message of Salvation.Rodica Malos presented the medical perspective for the woman how our spiritual life can influence the hole body.
