Many Americans are angry, confused and worried. 58% of Americans think the country is
on the wrong track, suffering an economy that’s sick, a politics that’s broken, a culture
that is growing more violent, coarse and scary and a government that’s out of control.
They want things to get back to normal but increasingly feel that there is no normal any
more. Nearly all the aspect of American life seems to have veered its course into
uncharted territory with irreversible consequences.
So wrote the former Wall Street Reporter, Jim Gannon on December 8, 2009
“There Is No Normal Anymore “.
He seems to have perfectly captured the mood of much of the country.
It’s no wonder the American people seem so troubled. They suffer enormously from the
We all reap what we sow (Galatians 6:7)
Cultural commentator Jim Nelson, in his 1994 book “When Nations Die”, identified and
life – that afflicted past civilizations and inevitably led to their decline and fall. They are:
1. Increase in lawlessness
2. Loss of economic discipline
3. Rising bureaucracy
4. Decline in education
5. Weakening of cultural foundations
6. Loss of respect for traditions
7. Increase in materialism
8. Rise in immorality
9. Decay of religious belief
10. Devaluing the human life
All of these factors, bad enough at the time he identified them, are far more evident
today in America society and culture. These social and moral cancers seriously
threaten the country’s very existence.

Ground Zero Mosque Imam Globetrotting at Taxpayers' Expense?
The Imam behind the Ground Zero mosque project is gearing up for a multi-country trip to the
Middle East — and you’re paying for it.
Imam Rauf — the Imam who has refused to declare Hamas a terrorist organization, who called
the United States “an accessory” to the crimes of 9/11, and who has the green light to build a
$100 million, 13-story mosque on the site where thousands of Americans were murdered by
Islamic terrorists — is planning to take a taxpayer-funded trip, courtesy of the U.S. State
Department, to travel the Muslim world and “foster a greater understanding” about Islam.
The American Center for Law and Justice is on it — we’re already in court, having filed a
lawsuit challenging New York City’s decision to clear the way for the mosque to be built at
Ground Zero. Now, the ACLJ is mobilizing once again — filing a petition of protest demanding
the State Department remove the Imam from this global journey.
Stand with the ACLJ today and tell the State Department NO — don’t send Imam Rauf
globetrotting at taxpayers' expense. Declare your membership with the ACLJ and add your
name to our Petition of Protest now.
PETITION OF PROTEST:
STOP TAXPAYER-FUNDED TRIP FOR GROUND ZERO MOSQUE IMAM
U.S. State Department
We are deeply disturbed by the misguided decision to send the controversial Imam behind the
Ground Zero Mosque on a goodwill mission — traveling across the Middle East — at taxpayers'
expense.Even more troubling are the questions surrounding Imam Rauf . Reports indicate that he
was one of the key financiers of the Gaza-bound flotilla that recently carried terrorists determined
to attack Israel. He has refused to declare Hamas a terrorist organization and has called the
United States “an accessory” to the crimes of 9/11. Now, despite overwhelming public opposition,
he has even been given the green light to build a $100 million, 13-story mosque on the site where
thousands of Americans were murdered by Islamic terrorists.
Enough is enough. As radical Islam continues its bold and deadly march to erase freedom from the
face of the earth, we must honor America’s fallen 9/11 victims!
We stand with the ACLJ in strong opposition to this troubling move: This Imam has no business
globetrotting at U.S. taxpayers' expense! It’s time to remove Imam Rauf from this global journey.
